We will also be visiting a rhino sanctuary, going on game drives to search for the Big 5, experiencing incredible nature, cruising the Nile River, exploring the lush Ugandan countryside and incredible culture, soaking in every moment of this one-of-a-kind African adventure.

THE PEARL OF AFRICA

Everyone who knows me knows that my heart is in Africa, and Uganda was one of the first countries I visited on the continent. I first came here for gorilla trekking in 2017 and it was a trip that completely changed my life from there on out. I promise that Uganda will capture your heart too.

This adventure will be hosted by myself in partnership with Buutu Safaris, which is owned by my Ugandan friend Daudi. Buutu runs safari tours at lodges throughout East Africa with a focus on conservation, providing inclusive and meaningful opportunities for Africans who are the true custodians of the great biodiversity we explore.

Like many other countries, Uganda has been struggling due to the loss of tourism due to COVID-19 and by choosing Buutu Safaris, you are helping renew much-needed gorilla conservation efforts, fighting poverty in Uganda, and sustaining the livelihood of the amazing people who live there.

THE ADVENTURE

Me, you, and a group of our new best travel buds will embark an incredible six-night, seven-day adventure through Murchison Falls, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda.

We will head deep into the thick of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to stare into the eyes of the critically endangered and captivating mountain gorillas. We will journey across the lush Ugandan countryside, waving to the smiling locals along the way. We will set out on game drives at Murchison Falls National Park and a cruise of the Nile, and get the full safari experience by staying in the African bush. We’ll go soak in the serenity of Lake Bunyonyi before heading back to Entebbe, stopping at the equator along the way, before closing out our adventure.

We’ll soak in every sunrise and sunset, experience magical moments with the wildlife, gaze at the stars, trade travel stories, capture our memories, and live our absolute best lives.
