Ease into the trip with a few laid-back days on the spice island — white sand, turquoise water, and island time.
Day 4-11 🇹🇿 Tanzania — Safari
Chase the Big Five across the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara on a classic Tanzania safari.

ZANZIBAR
Kick off your African adventure on the spice island of Zanzibar. Sink your toes into powder-white sand, drift in turquoise water, and spend your first few days easing into island time after the long flight over. Beyond the beach, discover Stone Town's winding alleys and rich history, wander through fragrant spice plantations, and get up close with giant tortoises on Prison Island.
Day 1·
Arriving at the Zanzibar International Airport

· Your driver will greet you just outside the arrival doors and from there you will transfer across the island to your beach stay. Check in and rest. [ Check In Time: 2:30pm]

· After breakfast transfer to Zanzibar Airport to Board your flight to Central Serengeti.

TANZANIA SAFARI
From the beach, it's on to the wild heart of Tanzania. The Serengeti's endless plains, the otherworldly Ngorongoro Crater, and the flamingo-dotted shores of Lake Manyara await — home to some of the greatest wildlife concentrations on Earth. Days here are spent on game drives in search of the Big Five, with village visits and cultural encounters woven in along the way.
· Your flight arrives at Serengeti Seronera @ 1:15pm. Arriving at the landing strip, you will be greeted by your guide and start a game drive immediately while transferring to your camp.
· Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner [Beverages Included]
· Overnight in the park at Nyota Luxury Camp – All Inclusive Suite
Day 5
· Full Day Game Drive Central Serengeti – Game drive in the morning, return to camp for lunch and rest or choose to game drive all day with a hamper lunch.
· Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner [Beverages Included]
· Overnight in the park at Nyota Luxury Camp –All Inclusive Suite
Day 6
· Full Day Game Drive Central Serengeti – Game drive in the morning, return to camp for lunch and rest or choose to game drive all day with a hamper lunch.

· Overnight in the park at Nyota Luxury Camp – All Inclusive Suite
· Day 7
· Final morning game drive in Central Serengeti before transfer to Ngorongoro Crater – Arriving at the crater rim gates around noon. Descend to the crater floor for an afternoon game drive. Explore the crater until about 16:00 when you will ascend the crater rim and arrive at your accommodation for the evening.

Day 8
· We recommend starting this morning as EARLY as possible – a sunrise descent to the crater floor – perhaps taking a packed box breakfast with you. Enjoy a magical sunrise game drive on the crater floor – stopping by the hippo pool to enjoy your breakfast and coffee before spending the rest of the morning exploring. Once finished with your game drive ascend the crater rim and spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying your accommodation.

· Overnight at Neptune Ngorongoro – All Inclusive Suite
Day 9
· After breakfast depart your accommodation and either game drive Lake Manyara National Park – or partake in the Biking Village/Manyara Wildlife Activity (~2hr)
· After the Manyara activity you will visit a Maasai Boma and some local artisanal shops before heading back to Arusha.
· Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch (Dinner Not Included this night but available for purchase at Arushavilla)
· Overnight in the park at Arushavilla –Bed and Breakfast[Deluxe Room]
Day 10
· After breakfast transfer to Materuni Village (in the foothills of Kilimanjaro Mountain) – enjoy a hike to Materuni waterfalls, followed by a visit to a local Chagga village where you will be immersed in a coffee harvesting/processing while the local Dada’s prepare a delicious traditional Swahili meal.
· After the Materuni Village activity and lunch you will transfer to Chemka Hot Spring for a dip in the crystal-clear bather before heading back to Arusha for overnight
· Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch – NO DINNER (can be purchased on site at Arusha Planet Lodge)
· Overnight at Arushavilla – Bed & Breakfast Accommodation Standard Double Room
Day 11
· After breakfast you will depart your Arusha accommodation and transfer to the Kilimanjaro (JRO) Airport to board your international flight onward.

Based on approximate 2027 rates. Third-party services are subject to adjustment due to fuel surcharges, park fees, and other operational costs, and your final balance may be updated accordingly. I will send an updated invoice when it’s time for payment!

Itineraries may also change, even after confirmation, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Adventurelust and its partners (including flights, accommodation, and activities). Every effort will be made to operate the trip as planned.
It is each guest’s responsibility to ensure:
Your passport is valid (typically with at least two blank pages for entry stamps)
You obtain the necessary travel insurance for your trip, including health, trip cancellation, evacuation, and baggage coverage
By paying your deposit, you agree to the Terms & Conditions of each supplier as well as Adventurelust’s Terms & Conditions.

The following items are not included in the trip price:
International Flights
These flights can be booked on your own, or via my third-party flight agent for a fee. Flights will become available 11 months out, so we can book around November 14, 2026.
Travel insurance – Please confirm you have reviewed and consent to the Terms & Conditions, including the mandatory travel insurance requirement covering emergency medical treatment, evacuation, repatriation, and trip cancellation/interruption. Strongly recommended within 14 days of deposit.
Spa services, massages, and other personal treatments
Visa costs ($30 pp at Zimbabwe airport)
Tanzania evisa - apply in advance here ($50 USD per person)
Zanzibar mandatory insurance ($44 USD per person - link here)
Gratuities (approximately R100 - R200 or $10–$20 USD per person per day for safari guides and lodge staff, as well as per vehicle for transfers)
