Thornybush Game Reserve

Waterbuck Lodge boasts an excellent location for safari-goers in search of the Big Five. The lodge occupies a prime spot in the prestigious 14 500 hectare Thornybush Private Nature Reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park, near Hoedspruit. The open savannah and mixed woodland habitat that forms much of the reserve is a haven of animal activity surrounded by a water estuary and numerous waterholes.

Perfectly sized for two, each of the four suites at Waterbuck Lodge features a king-size or twin beds flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows, a separate dressing room and a spacious en-suite bathroom with modern fittings and a bath with a view.

The glass sliding doors open up onto a large veranda with a seating area and day bed to optimize your enjoyment of the lovely surroundings alive with the sound of birds and the occasional animal interaction. Air conditioning offers a blissful escape from the noonday heat, and a mini bar ensures you always have something refreshing on hand when needed. The tea and coffee station comes in handy before early morning game drives and plush linens ensure a cozy and restful end to every busy day.
