Setari Camp
Okavango Delta
WHERE TIME STANDS STILL…
The Okavango Delta is an astonishing sight and one of the most magical places on the planet. A mind-boggling 15,000 square kilometres of palm-fringed islands, thick woodland, intricate waterways, all resplendent with lavish vegetation and rich in wildlife. It is the largest intact inland delta in the world and one which will remain in your heart and soul forever. Tucked deep within the main ‘artery’ of the Okavango, is the private concession where the camp is situated.
Our flagship, Setari Camp, sits on a palm island in the north of the reserve and is the ideal spot to explore and marvel at all this watery wonderland has on offer.
Setari is the perfect place from which to immerse yourself in an extraordinary wilderness. With year round water surrounding the island, this camp offers the ultimate Okavango experience.
With lagoons, waterways and rivers to the north and large open floodplains and palm forests to the south, the concession is a safari playground for guests. Setari Camp has year round water so safari activities here are mainly water based including boating and Mekoros (traditional dug out canoes).
Each of the 9 double tented suites and 1 tented family suite are built high in the trees overlooking the floodplain beyond. They have been stylishly furnished and all have en-suite bathrooms with outside shower and freestanding bath. The swimming pool, gym and large, airy dining and seating area all have spectacular views over the surrounding wilderness.
