Spend your time relaxing on the beach, strolling the promenade, hiking a mountain (Lion’s Head at sunrise if you love adventure), shopping for handcrafted African goods, sipping a cocktail at a vibey restaurant, taking the cable car up Table Mountain (one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World), or simply soaking in the iconic views from your hotel. Cape Town is, quite simply, MAGIC.
Your recommended package includes transfers from the airport and to your hotels, and a full-day Peninsula Tour: explore the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive, iconic Cape of Good Hope, and penguins at Boulders Beach!

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Closer to the wild than ever before…
Journey into the raw, untamed heart of Zimbabwe, where safari feels truly wild again. This is not a crowded circuit — it is vast, unfiltered wilderness where elephants wander through camp, predators move freely across open plains, and every moment brings you closer to nature than ever.
This is Hwange National Park, a staggering 14,651 sq km of protected wilderness — Africa’s second-largest national park, and still one of its best-kept secrets. With far fewer visitors than the Serengeti, Masai Mara, or Kruger, Hwange offers space, silence, and a sense of discovery that is increasingly rare in modern safari travel.
And then there are the elephants. Approximately 46,000 of them call this ecosystem home — more than the number of visitors who come to experience it. For comparison, the Masai Mara has around 3,700 elephants, Kruger approximately 13,750, and the Serengeti around 2,100. Here, you don’t just see elephants… you share space with them.
The stage is set for unforgettable wildlife encounters with lion, cheetah, African wild dog, giraffe, zebra, and, of course, vast herds of elephant moving across the plains.
This is also where experience meets purpose. Imvelo Safari Lodges operates five unique properties across Hwange, creating an incredible multi-lodge safari circuit that reveals different corners of this remarkable landscape. Their experiences go far beyond traditional game drives — including walking safaris, hide sits, night drives, the iconic Elephant Express, conservation-led rhino walks, and meaningful community and school visits that connect you to the people who call this region home.
Imvelo is deeply involved in conservation and community upliftment across the region, ensuring that tourism directly supports the wildlife and communities that make Hwange so special.
This is not just a safari.
It is a return to something wilder, quieter, and profoundly transformative.
Buckle up, it’s about to get W I L D.
➡️ Light aircraft flight from Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park - your safari begins here!
Camelthorn Lodge
Touch down at your incredible safari lodge bordering the Ngamo Plains in Hwange National Park, a region renowned for exceptional lion, cheetah, and wild dog sightings.
Beyond outstanding game viewing, you’ll have the opportunity to connect more deeply with the region through community visits, as well as time on foot with the Imvelo’s Community Rhino experience at Camelthorn Sanctuary, home to resident rhinos and led by Imvelo Safari Lodges. You’ll also enjoy an unforgettable Elephant Express Sundowner Run as the day winds down in true safari style.
This forms the giveaway prize portion of your journey ✨
A magical finale in the treetops, where elephants often stroll right beneath your stilts as you watch from above. With a constant flow of wildlife at the waterhole, this is the kind of place you don’t rush — just sip a drink, stay still, and let the bush put on its show. Though you may never want to leave camp, there are opportunities to visit the local lookout hide, community visits and rhino conservation experiences.
